Who Run The Narrative in The RGV?
Join Ruido Studios for the kick-off to our fall series “Who Runs The Narrative in the RGV?” Through this series, we’ll explore how narratives spread across our border region, particularly through news, independent media, art, and community hubs or “third spaces”. During this event Ruido Studios will also be launching a new database that tracks media outlets in the RGV based on research by our Spring 2025 Ruidosos Fellows. Clothing Swap
Join us for our second clothing swap! Clean out your closet and bring stuff to share! We’re welcoming tops, bottoms, outerwear, shoes, and accessories! Anything left at the end of the day will be donated to Good Neighbor Settlement.
QUEER CRAFT NIGHT
Join us for QUEER CRAFT NIGHT, spend an evening crafting in community. Bring your own crafts to work on, some materials will be provided. Feel free to bring snacks and sips too. This is a family friendly event but alcoholic beverages may be present.
In an attempt to make art accessible this is a donation based event, $5-$10 is the suggested donation <3 any donations can be made in person at the time of the event

Life Drawing Series
Join us for a two hour life drawing session where we’ll learn how to capture the human form and movement of body. You’ll be lead through a series of warm ups and exercises so you can practice your craft with confidence. No formal art training required, this class is open to people of all skill levels. Bring your own supplies, or buy some at the store.

STORY OF SELF
“Story of Self, Us, Now” is a creative community organizing tool to share our values and invite others to take action and change the world. Materials and light refreshments will be provided.
We’re joining forces with Never Before Zine, Ruido Studios, and Voces Unidas to bring you this introspective workshop. Take a moment to check in with yourself as we dive into the New Year. recenter, refocus, and reimagine the version of yourself you want to bring into 2025.
