This time we’re doing a guided craft - kitchen lithography! We’ll be using common household items to create an etched plate that we can pull beautiful prints from!

Tie Dye In The Cactus Yard
Come spend an afternoon with us hanging in our beautiful backyard learning how to tie dye. We’ll learn several different techniques to create interesting and unique tie dye patters!

Two Part Sculpture Class
Join us for a fresh new take on our classic two part ceramics class with this sculpture class! Rather than focusing on making something functional this one is purely artistic! We’re learning the basics of sculpture. This class is great for someone who doesn’t like being put in a box and likes to do their own thing. Creativity is encouraged and all ages are welcome!

Valentine's Day Craft Night

Self Love Craft Night
February is the month of love, but who says couples get to have all the fun? Join us for a casual craft night with some guided mindfulness exercises as we write ourselves a love letter. We’ll practice using words of affirmations to tell ourselves whatever it is we need to hear.
Come solo, or bring a friend! BYOB if you’re into that sort of thing. All materials and chocolate covered strawberries will be provided.

Life Drawing Series - Highlighting Underrepresented Bodies
Join us for a two hour life drawing session where we’ll learn how to capture the human form and movement of body. You’ll be lead through a series of warm ups and exercises so you can practice your craft with confidence. No formal art training required, this class is open to people of all skill levels.
We will be working from a live model with possible nudity, which requires full respect from all participants. This ongoing series will be 18+ due to the nature of the content. We aim to showcase bodies of underrepresented communities, included by not limited too trans and queer bodies, fat bodies, bodies with disabilities, and any body in between.
Cactus Valley Art is a queer owned business and we are fully LGBTQIA+ friendly, good vibes only please.

Join us for this spicy ceramics class where we’ll explore the various techniques as we build trinket dishes and ring holders inspired by vaginas and penises, boobs and butts, and anything in between! This one is 21+ only so leave the kids at home and come get dirty with us!

Still Life Series "Date Night"
Join us for our recurring still life series hosted in our studio space. Come out with your favorite person, bring your drawing supplies, and perhaps some libations while we work on practicing our skills.
The session begins with guided warm ups and exercises and ends with about an hour of free sketching.

Citlalis Del Futuro - Closing Reception TIME TBD
Join us as we close out Citlalis Del Futuro, a two person exhibition by artist Josue Ramires and Marco Lopez. The exhibition explores futurism of the natural world and our indigenous ancestors. Citlalis Del Futuro references the Nahualt word for "stars". It is a reminder that we are here, have been, and will continue into the future, regardless of the narratives trying to erase us from conversations of the cosmos and its exploration. We are a piece of the stars and we will shine again.
